Despite best efforts from the front office during the offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers faced multiple needs at the MLB trade deadline this year. Their biggest focus has seemingly been the bullpen, but several reports also connected the Dodgers to searches for an outfielder and specifically one who could improve their defense.

A handful of players reportedly are on the move in a three-team trade ahead of Thursday's trade deadline. Per ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Los Angeles Dodgers received pitcher prospect Adam Serinowski from the Cincinnati Reds and relief pitcher Paul Gervase and catcher Ben Rortvedt from the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Cincinnati Reds add Zack Littell (8-8, 3.72) to a rotation that right now includes swingman Nick Martinez and rookie Chase Burns.
