Walmart has reached a $100 million multi-state settlement following allegations that it deceived customers and misappropriated tips intended for its Spark Driver Program participants.

The Federal Trade Commission, joined by 11 states, claimed that the retail giant deceived its employees about pay and the tips they could earn.

According to the terms of the settlement agreement, $79 million (including sums already paid) will be used to pay drivers.
