The trajectory of Cade McNamara's 2024 season continues to be a hot topic among those who follow Iowa football. The Hawkeyes quarterback finished 19-for-23 passing for 176 yards in Iowa's 38-21 win over Troy on Saturday inside Kinnick Stadium.

Cade McNamara has suffered three injuries in the last two years that have severely limited his play. The Hawkeyes QB looks to stay healthy in 2024.

“The recovery process is a grind on the mind and body and to watch your son go through a recovery, let alone back-to-back years, has created plenty of sleepless nights,” Gary McNamara said. “Saturday will be emotional and the butterflies will be there but Cade will handle it as he always has, like the true warrior he is.”
