Accumulating snow is likely over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but there are still questions as to how much snow the Chicago area will see.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued two ground stops briefly at O’Hare on Wednesday between 8:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. because of snow and ice. Upon its expiration, a ground delay was issued until 9 p.m. Then, just before 10:45 Wednesday morning, a second ground stop was issued, lasting about an hour.
