North Korea has ​doubled down on expanding its nuclear fleet and continued its criticism of the U.S., although it has refrained from personal attacks on Trump.

The powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un dismissed the U.S.'s intent to resume diplomacy on North Korea’s denuclearization, as she urged Washington to accept her country as a nuclear weapons state and find a new approach to restart talks.

North Korea said relations between its leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump are “not bad” but any attempt to resume dialogue between the two countries should start with recognizing the North as a nuclear power.
