The Green Bay Packers beat the Detroit Lions 31-24 on Thanksgiving, improving the team's chances to make the playoffs to an impressive 94 percent. But with five games to go in the regular season, Matt LaFleur knows there's not much time to rest.
Campbell had been stuffing LaFleur and his team in a locker for the better part of four years entering this season, the Detroit Lions winning six of their first eight games against the Green Bay Packers under the brawny head honcho and his edgy coaching style.
Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt has a season-ending ankle injury, and the current plan internally is to replace him with young players already on the roster. "Yeah, it's tough," LaFleur said Monday. "Certainly, he's a guy who's going to be pretty tough to replace."
Packers fans had plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. On Thursday, Green Bay opened the Turkey Day slate with a divisional matchup against Detroit, and put together a full performance to take a 31–24 win.
