SEATTLE, Wash. – Jan. 7, 2025 – The Seattle Kraken announced today that the team will host a two-game prospects showcase with the Vancouver Canucks in September 2025. The games will feature both teams’ top young players and will give fans an opportunity to witness future Kraken players up close.

There was a curious occurrence early in Saturday’s game (Jan. 4) between the Edmonton Oilers and Seattle Kraken. Less than a minute into the contest, Climate Pledge Arena’s lights went out for a moment.

The Devils’ four consecutive defeats hung heavy over them, but on Monday, January 6th, they finally shed it, conquering the Seattle Kraken 3-2 to reclaim their winning spirit.

Ondrej Palat scored the tiebreaking goal early in the third period, and the Devils beat the Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Monday night.

The New Jersey Devils travelled up the West Coast to face off against the Seattle Kraken for the final game of their West Coast trip. After a poor performance on the trip so far, the Devils were looking to snap their losing streak.
