NEW YORK (AP) — Denver’s Nikola Jokić was fined $50,000 and Minnesota’s Julius Randle was fined $35,000 for their roles in an altercation near the end of Game 4 of the teams’ first-round playoff series, the NBA announced Sunday.
At the end of an emotional game in which the Minnesota Timberwolves lost two players to injury, tempers flared and a pair of stars were ejected.

A physical altercation involving multiple players broke out near the end of the Minnesota Timberwolves' 112-96 win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday night.
Jokić wasn't the only Nugget annoyed with McDaniels' layup. "I didn't like what McDaniels did," Denver coach David Adelman shared. "The game was over...in 2026 that stuff just doesn't happen anymore, that's something that happens in the 80s where teams would continue to score, but that's who he is."
Things aren't going well at all for Jokić and his Denver teammates, who have had a lot stolen from them in this first-round series.
