After opening the final round at Oakmont Country Club with a front-nine 40 to turn in 5 over, no one expected J.J. Spaun to win the U.S. Open.
The U.S. Open has a prize purse of $21.5 million this year and has been taking place at the Oakmont Country Club in beautiful Pennsylvania. Currently atop the leaderboard is American golfer Sam Burns at four under par. Burns shot one under par in the third round on Saturday to maintain a one-stroke lead at the top of the leaderboard.
