Russia launched a large-scale aerial attack on Ukraine using 162 Shahed-type attack drones, various types of decoy drones and one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile on the night of 3-4 August. Ukrainian air defence forces have destroyed 161 Russian drones.

Elsewhere in Russia's south, we're looking into reports that a railway station in the Volgograd region was attacked last night as well as overnight footage of damage from Ukraine's Odesa.

A wave of Ukrainian drone attacks has struck key Russian infrastructure and military assets, with separate operations targeting the southern Volgograd region and a critical airbase in Russian-occupied Crimea, according to official sources on both sides of the conflict.
