A Pima Community College student was shot to death Sunday night outside of a dorm on the University of Arizona campus.

A suspect in the fatal shooting of a Tucson junior college student on the University of Arizona campus has been arrested, authorities said Thursday. University police said Ryan Romero-Encinas, 20, was taken into custody Wednesday without incident at a Tucson apartment complex.

The University of Arizona Police Department said Romero-Encinas, 20, is accused of killing Minhaj Jamshidi following an argument at the sand volleyball courts late Sunday night.

The suspect responsible for allegedly shooting and killing 19-year-old Minhaj Jamshidi was arrested. On Wednesday at 3:44 p.m., 20-year-old Ryan Romero-Encinas, was arrested at the Riverwalk Luxury Apartments.
