HMS Andromeda (F57) was a Leander-class frigate launched in 1967 and commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1968, participating in the Falklands War as a close escort for the carrier HMS Invincible. The ship was modernized in the late 1970s with Exocet missiles and the Sea Wolf missile system. After service, she was sold to India in 1995, where she became the training ship INS Krishna before being decommissioned in 2012.
