Written by Harold Clayton and Sidigi Abdallah, it is the debut release and biggest hit single for the Atlanta, GA based band fronted by lead singer Mary Davis. Originally formed in 1977, the band is first known as Santa Monica. They eventually change their name to The S.O.S. Band, with the initials S.O.
