Sugar, spice and all things holy matrimony 💒 Bridal cogs (or coggies) are an Orcadian wedding tradition involving a spicy alcoholic concoction. The newly married couple would drink from it and offer it to their guests. Sort of like a quaich, but supersized 🍻 It’s on display in the People Gallery in the National Museum of Rural Life, alongside many other examples of Scottish life and traditions. Slàinte!
