On October 21, 1996 Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Marc Mero (with Sable) for the WWF Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw at the War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On April 30, 1995 Hunter Hearst Helmsley made his WWF debut on an episode of Wrestling Challenge defeating jobber Buck Zumhoff. In a modified version of his gimmick that he had in WCW, Helmsley started his WWF career as a "Connecticut Blueblood". He appeared in taped vignettes, in which he talked about how to use proper etiquette, up until his wrestling debut.
