The wolves were howling today at Lehigh Valley Zoo! Wolves don’t howl at the moon, but they do howl to communicate with others and assert their territory. 🔊 Mexican Gray Wolves were once extinct in the wild due to trapping, hunting, and poisoning. Luckily, due to the efforts of the Mexican Wolf Recovery Team, Species Survival Plans, and Saving Animals From Extinction plans, Mexican Gray Wolf populations have since increased!
